How does Plum make predictions on traits and talents?

Plum uses expertly crafted algorithms that combine behavioral and industrial psychology and statistical probabilities. The responses to the Plum Discovery Survey have differing levels of commonality or rarity. Many aspects of psychology (including personality and cognitive ability) follow normal bell curve distributions, as do Plum's results.  For any given trait measured on the Plum Discovery Survey, half the population provides similar responses patterns (the middle of the bell curve), and the other half of the population provides increasingly dissimilar responses patterns (the opposite ends of the bell curve, sometimes called "the tails").
